Benchmarking and profiling against players from other countries like Canada, Australia and Singapore

Message from our Director - Nicholas Scott

At 135, we understand that every tennis player has their own strengths, weaknesses and playing style. Our experience working with developing players and their coaches has taught us not to complicate the analytics or the analysis, and that our job is a process, rather than a one-off report. It’s why Tennis Canada, Singapore ActiveSG and the Oceania Tennis Federation have engaged us to profile and assist in the development of their junior players as well as assist coaches in developing programs to help individuals play better tennis.

Using the 135 Framework as a base for understanding, backed up by cutting edge technology, our approach is to work with national federations in 3 primary ways:

  • Educate coaches and players both in person and video presentations, providing all the resources required.
  • Benchmark top players to compare to other countries around the world.
  • Measure player performance and improvement over time.
  • Consult to all parties on programs to use at all levels to develop better players

We only work with players through their coach, academy or federation, becoming your partner in driving matchplay development, using  analytics, analysis, video plus group and 1-on-1 consulting.

We look forward to working with you!

WHAT IS 135?

PROFILE

A 135 profile uses metrics from the 135 Framework. It’s the way an individual plays tennis and requires at least 4 matches of data for each player

BENCHMARK

135 benchmarking is derived from our relationships with worldwide clients like Tennis Canada, and from tournaments like Tarbes and Orange Bowl

MEASURE

Profiling and benchmarking show where a player’s match play development is at a given time. Measuring player improvement should be an ongoing process

EDUCATE

135 provides education to national federation coaches and players,

135 provides education to all federation stakeholders, coaches and players, both in person and on video calls and webinars.

135 TECHNOLOGY

135 is a service, NOT a stand-alone tech product that we leave to tennis players and coaches to figure out for themselves. Our technology is state-of-the-art. That’s why it’s used by organizations such as Tennis Canada and many others to develop junior players, but it’s not about technology alone.
