About Nick
Nick Scott is the co-founder and CEO of 135 Tennis Analytics. 135’s player profiling is changing the way matchplay performance is measured and recorded at the junior level. Nick consults to players and their parents the world over, including Tennis Canada’s highly successful “Top Prospect” pipeline players. All of 135’s work is through a player’s coach and all using 135’s framework of analytics with technology to support the process.
Profiling & measuring matchplay development
Engaging, entertaining, and always informative. Parents, players and coaches will come away from one of Nick’s presentations with a view of tennis analytics and analysis that makes sense and helps drive player development.
Among other things, Nick will discuss:
- The “105 Benchmark” and how it can be applied to all players at all levels.
- Why traditional tennis stats and “game styles” inhibit development, and a way forward for junior players
- Profiling, benchmarking and measuring player improvement over time.
- Why junior “Tennis IQ” is lower now than ever before, and ways to improve it.
- Solutions to the most common tactical and strategic problems in junior players.
- The pitfalls of “Big Data” and the importance of the individual.
- The positives and negatives of A.I. and the importance of ANALYSIS, not just analytics.
Cost is $50 per player, which includes attendance at BOTH the player and parent sessions.
If you are unable to attend in person, a recording will be made available at $20. Please note, those attending do not need to purchase the recording as it will be provided automatically.
Due to the educational and interactive nature of Nick’s presentations, players and parents are strongly encouraged to attend in person if possible.
