135 Partnerships
Thank you for considering a partnership with 135 Tennis Analytics. We use the word “partnership” because that’s precisely the nature of our relationship with you. We bring expertise in systems, software, training, education and a framework of analytics for junior players. You bring contacts and a knowledge of your geographic location’s needs combined with a love of tennis and helping to develop the next generation of tennis players.
One thing we share is helping aspirational junior players reach their goals.
We’ve tried to keep our information as brief as possible. As you have landed on this page, you are considering a partnership with us, so knowing as much as possible will only be of benefit to both parties.
BACKGROUND
You are probably already aware how the 135 Framework operates and that our hardware and software (135 Camera, 135 App and 135 Analyzer) support a process of education and improvement of junior players through their coach.
One of our goals is to change the market’s perception that analytics and match play analysis is only for experienced, high level players. The earlier a player starts using 135, the more they will understand their improvement on the match court over time.
That’s not to say that a 12 year-old with a UTR of 4 requires a quarterly consult with a 135 expert, but some of the 12 year-olds with a UTR of 4 today will be on the verge of a college or pro career in a few short years.
Introducing a player to “everything 135” is, therefore, important from the start of the competitive journey. School systems don’t start reporting a child’s progress when they’re almost ready for college. It’s a process of progression that is reported on a regular basis, both with formal reports and meetings with teachers.
So we believe it should be, and can be, with aspirational tennis players. 135 is the first process-driven profiling, benchmarking and measurement system for junior players of all competitive levels in the world.
HOW DO OUR PARTNERSHIPS WORK?
135’s Partners have exclusive rights to market, sell and implement 135 software and systems to academies and coaches in a defined geographic area. Partners are also responsible for player consulting and reporting in their area.
What 135 provides to Partners:
- Software and systems training (initial and ongoing).
- Training of Partners in how to consult to junior players using 135’s systems – “The Five Cs”.
- Payment systems.
- Match analytics by 135’s in-house team.
- Marketing material customized to meet the needs and goals of a defined area.
- Support from experts and a network of partners around the world to help grow your “patch”.
A 135 Partner should:
- be well connected in their exclusive geographic area.
- be a well respected coach or tennis identity.
- be open to new methods of approaching analytics in general and 135 specifically.
- Have a collaborative approach to player/coach consulting and business in general.
135’s pricing differs slightly by geographic area. Pricing is outlined below but isn’t set until we’ve finalised it to meet the needs of a Partner’s location.
135's POINTS OF DIFFERENCE
135:
- Is heavily targeted towards developing junior tennis players at an early stage, not waiting until college or pro level.
- Only works with players through their coach.
- Is not defined by its technology. 135’s tech is designed to support the process.
- Is as beneficial for coaches as it is for players and parents.
- Has developed a camera and mount that is built for tennis.
- Ensures that services are adding to a coach/academy’s bottom line as well as the Tennis IQ of coaches, players and parents.
OUR TECH
It should be emphasized that our tech is not “set-and-forget” nor is it the everything of what we do. It’s the best of its type, but it supports a process of development and a framework of understanding among players, parents and coaches.
135 Camera
Without a camera, we don’t have footage. Without footage, it’s difficult to record analytics (although you can with the 135 App live at the court!). The 135 Camera and Mount have been designed specifically for tennis and ease of use.
The video will explain why.
135 Analyzer
The 135 Analyzer is where everything is stored including match footage, data and player reporting. It’s also where our 135 Partners filter and analyze data and video footage, enabling them to effectively communicate match play information to player, parent and coach.
More in the video.
135 App
The 135 App was our original tech offering. It is now an integral part of everything we do and is how data recorded either from match footage or live at the court is uploaded to the 135 Analyzer, where it can be further filtered for analysis purposes.
PRICING
We have eliminated actual amounts from the information below because pricing varies in each location. What we provide below is a summary and can be added to with a PLATINUM level above GOLD, and/or a WHITE level below BRONZE.
We believe the most important decision we make in each area in which we operate is the price, and our number one goal is to keep it as simple as possible.
All consulting, video analysis and reporting services are provided quarterly.

Partner Responsibilities
135 Partners are responsible for:
- Customized reporting in the 135 Analyzer for GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE players.
- 5 minute videos for GOLD and SILVER players.
- Personal Consults with GOLD players.
Revenue Sharing
Revenue is shared with both our 135 Partners and the coach/academy to which our services are provided. If all Partner responsibilities are fulfilled by you, our partner, the academy/coach receives 15% of revenue generated. Partner share will depend entirely on the pricing set, which will be different depending on the region to which you have exclusive rights.
Should an academy be big enough (usually over 10 players signed up) they may elect to be trained in fulfilling Partner responsibilities direct to players. If so, the Partner’s share is 15% and the coach/academy receives the shared revenue that would otherwise go to the 135 Partner.
Frequently Asked Questions
The following is not an exhaustive list. We try to think of everything, but just in case there’s something we’ve missed, you’re welcome to get in touch or add it to the list of questions when we meet with you.
Financial
135’s systems are set up so that a new player is added to a “Team”, which is usually their academy or coach.
Each team has its own pricing, which is displayed to new players when they first sign in to the system. There is no way for a player, parent or coach to see another team’s pricing.
When coaches of junior players hear about tennis analytics programs, they’re generally thinking 3 things that have nothing to do with analytics:
- What’s in it for me?
- How much time do I have to spend analyzing stuff I’m not trained to analyze?
- How am I going to get the footage?
Simply, we solve all of these problems. If a coach is going to recommend that a parent buy into a product for the betterment of their child’s tennis, we believe they should be rewarded for doing so.
The framework, tech, consulting etc will do the job of keeping them in a system and process for years to come, but we need to reward the coach for starting, and continuing, the process.
We report earnings at the end of each month and pay our Partners by the 15th of the following month.
When a parent signs their player up, they will log in for the first time using a unique email address identifier that’s been provided to us.
The 135 Analyzer recognizes which Team pricing to display and they go through a process of payment and registration.
The Analyzer automatically recognizes the level to which the player has signed up, and gives them the appropriate number of match uploads, reports and consults based on their selection.
All payments are made securely by credit card using the Stripe gateway in the local currency of the 135 Partner.
While the services we provide remain largely unchanged, pricing will be different depending on market forces in your part of the world.
Pricing will be based on our partner’s knowledge and research and the normal rate of private tennis lessons in your area.
Like everything else we do, pricing decisions are collaborative.
Systems and Processes
Yes, but we use it for specific things, not for full match play analysis and certainly not for scoring. The day we use it for everything is coming, but not today.
Children are usually good visual learners. 135 provides them with a system to watch and analyze their own match in a meaningful way ie not just on a phone screen.
They do so after consults, videos and reports are produced to add even more meaning to the experience because they’re looking for the content we’ve delivered to them.
We want to maintain the integrity and high level of consulting value we provide to players and parents. There’s also a cost involved in training coaches to consult to our systems.
Yes, it’s possible, although difficult. The first reason is that SILVER players have less matches in the system than GOLD, so the consulting experience won’t be anywhere near as good – something to which parents don’t take too kindly when their children are involved.
The second reason is that coaches do not have system rights to generate reports. Only Partners and 135 have those rights.
We expect it to happen, but we have systems in place to mitigate the issue when we spot it. If found, it’s always dealt with through our 135 Partner.
We consider coaches to be our number one clients. Parents pay the bills, but it’s the coach who recommends they do it.
Beyond that, if we provide information to a player independent of their coach, our reporting and consulting will have little to no effect, because it won’t translate to training on the practice court.
We want to have a long relationship with each player. The only logical way to do this is through their coach.
Always the player.
Usually the parent, although this can be dependent on the age of the player.
Sometimes the coach. The coach is more likely to attend the first one or two sessions with a player. After that, most coaches with whom we work use our 5 minute video at the start of the player’s next private lesson for a brief overview of what was discussed.
Partnership
We don’t expect our Partners to quit their coaching jobs. In fact, it’s beneficial to still have court time with players when you’re a 135 Partner.
In consultation, we will develop a strategy and targets to assist you in developing your part of the 135 world. This is not a one-size-fits-all partnership. People and places are different.
For GOLD players, report + short video + consult = 1 hour.
For SILVER players, report + short video = 30 minutes.
For BRONZE players, report = 15-20 minutes
All of the above are estimates. At the start of a Partner’s 135 journey, it will take longer to find the information you need, but with training and experience, this becomes a lot easier over time.
If there is enough business to justify it, absolutely. 135 will need to approve any new Consultant and train them on our systems.
How much to pay them will be determined by our Partner in that area in consultation with us.
General
We’ve worked with professional players, and likely will in the future. The important thing to note is that 135 is all about match play development, not producing reports for pros about the pattern habits of their opponents.
While our target market is quite niche (aspirational junior tennis players), it’s much larger than the pro player market.
In simple terms, everything we do is geared towards the development of junior players.
No. We don’t want to be seen to be publicly connected to one or the other.
We do use player UTRs in recommending the level of service that should be provided to a player, but this is a guide only.
