135 CAMERA INSTRUCTIONS

Camera Components

When you receive your 135 Camera, it comes with these individual elements:

  1. 135 Camera
  2. Cable, adaptor and cradle
  3. Extendable monopod
  4. 135 Mount

Note, your camera does not come with an SD Card. SD cards with a minimum of 64GB of storage MUST be used in order for matches to be filmed as one file. We recommend SanDisk SD cards (Extreme Plus or Extreme Pro).

Charging your camera

Plug the USB cable into the camera and a charger or your computer. Use the supplied USB-A to USB-C adaptor to do this if required. Charging time should be 2-3 hours.

While charging your camera you should see a green light around the power button. When charging is finished, the green light will go out. If charging using a computer, the light will be green and red. The red light indicates the camera is connected to a PC and files can be accessed.  The green light will go out once charged.

Please note, you should be able to film for approximately 3 continuous hours using the camera’s internal battery. If you require more than 3 hours of footage, you can plug the camera into an external battery which will automatically start the recording process.

To record your match

The 135 Camera has been pre-programmed specifically for use by tennis players for filming matches and uploading them to the 135 Analyzer. As such, we have made it extremely easy to use.

  1. Assemble the components, starting by screwing the monopod into the 135 Mount, then the camera mount on top, and finally screw the camera onto the mount. The camera should be mounted at an approximate 30 degree downward angle.
  2. Long press the power button located on the middle of the camera and hold until you hear a quick succession of beeps.
  3. The camera records automatically, which can be confirmed by the slow flashing red light at the back of the camera.
  4. Mount the set-up on the fence.
  5. On windy days and for extra stability, it may be necessary to secure the bottom of the monopod to the fence using the attached velcro fastener.
  6. After the match, take the camera off the fence and long-press the power button again. You will hear a few beeps, after which the lights will go out.

Uploading your match to the 135 Analyzer

You first of all need to have “Upload Match Credits” in your profile. This can be seen by the “+” symbol in your Profile tab of the Analyzer. To upload your match:

  1. Plug the camera into a computer.
  2. Log into the 135 Analyzer.
  3. Click the “+” button on your Profile page.
  4. Load the match details in the pop-up screen.
  5. When prompted, upload the footage directly from the camera’s folder.

Your match will be in your profile once the upload is complete. The time taken will depend on your internet speed.

It can also be beneficial to move the footage from the camera folder onto your computer to speed up the process.

We recommend keeping the footage on your SD Card until your match is processed and available in the 135 Analyzer’s “Point Analysis” tab (usually within a couple of days). A 64GB card should store at least 8-10 matches.

Please note, the camera has other settings, such as a wifi unit for viewing what the camera sees on a mobile device. If you wish to use other functionality, please get in touch and we will organise it for you.
